Scope : These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made by consumers through online or other remote transactions with Jioufen Teahouse. By completing your order and payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms herein.
Product Nature and Description : Most products offered are handcrafted ceramics, glassware, and artworks, each with a high degree of individuality. Variations in size, weight, capacity, color, and form may occur and may differ from website images or descriptions. Such differences are inherent characteristics of the products and do not constitute defects.
Order Formation and Fulfillment : An order is considered confirmed upon completion of payment. Jioufen Teahouse reserves the right to accept or decline any order. In cases of insufficient stock, incorrect information, or circumstances not attributable to us, we may cancel the order and issue a refund. Once the product is properly packaged and handed over to the delivery service provider, Jioufen Teahouse is deemed to have fulfilled its delivery obligation.
Delivery and Risk Transfer : After the product is handed over to the delivery service provider, the risk of damage or loss shall be handled in accordance with general commercial practice. If damage or loss occurs during transit, we will assist the customer in filing a claim with the carrier or insurance provider. If the issue is determined to be attributable to Jioufen Teahouse, we will assume responsibility in accordance with applicable laws.
Shipping Damage and Claims Handling : Any damage or loss during transit shall be handled by the delivery or insurance provider in accordance with their policies. Jioufen Teahouse will provide necessary assistance; however, except in cases attributable to us, we do not offer returns, exchanges, or additional compensation.
Receiving and Inspection Obligations : Customers are advised to inspect the product promptly upon receipt and to complete unpacking within 24 hours. If any damage or defect is found, photographic evidence should be taken and reported immediately.Failure to notify within a reasonable time may affect claim or dispute rights. A signed delivery receipt indicates acceptance of the external condition of the package; the same applies if received by a third party.
Return and Exchange Policy : Due to the unique and irreplaceable nature of handcrafted products, returns and exchanges are not accepted unless the product has a significant defect at the time of delivery or the issue is attributable to Jioufen Teahouse. If confirmed as our responsibility, we will provide reasonable solutions such as repair or alternative arrangements.
Order Cancellation and Refund : If a customer cancels an order after it has been confirmed, a handling fee of 10% of the total order amount will be charged. Credit card refunds typically require approximately 30 business days, depending on the issuing bank.
Customer Information and Responsibility : Customers must provide accurate and complete delivery information. Any additional costs or losses resulting from incorrect information shall be borne by the customer.
International Orders : Any customs duties, import taxes, or related fees incurred for international shipments shall be borne by the recipient in accordance with local regulations. Jioufen Teahouse shall not be responsible for such charges.
Force Majeure : Jioufen Teahouse shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, transportation disruptions, war, pandemics, or logistics delays. We will, however, assist in handling subsequent arrangements.
Validity and Interpretation : If any part of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect. Jioufen Teahouse reserves the right of final interpretation and adjustment of these Terms, with fairness as the guiding principle.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction : These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
